End of Year Celebration 2025

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year What a wonderful day it was today as we had our Christmas Lunch and Breakup Party. Thank-you to everyone who made the effort to come down and congratulations to all the raffle winners. For those that missed the formal speeches - here is a recap of what was said 3 or so years ago, we held out first Welcome Summer event down at Rye to bring in the Victorian Summer season and have a family get together. Subsequent years have been met with poor weather and cancellations of this event so we decided to hold a Christmas Lunch that didn't involve jetskis so everyone can bring their families along. It was so great to see so many faces today wearing casual clothes and not the usual life-jackets, board shorts and alike. First off- Thank you to Tania Kovas for organising today's event. From booking the venue and the catering. Food was magnificiant and we can't complain about how much food we didn't have! To Brendan Issell and the team at Peter Stevens, you've had a hell of a year with lots of ups and downs and a period of uncertainty. Thank you for sticking with Vic Ski Riders and supporting us with our events and our needs. Peninsula Jetski (George Kooks & Nick Lakasas) to you and your team, thank-you for your wonderful support to our Vic Ski Rider community. You work so hard to look after us and make sure we are back on the water in no time (even pushing us in front of your other customers) - thank you thank you. Our wish is for you and your team to actually get to enjoy summer and spend time with your families and spend time on the water on the jetskis instead of every hour in the workshop fixing our skis. I promise we won't send a whole bunch of skis between now and Summer Trek! T & D Jetski Performance (Travis Jackson & Dee Ryan) - thank-you for looking after our crew from the North East / East. You too are also as busy as George and Nick and we hope you get to the holiday house in Glenmaggie as much as you can so you can enjoy summer instead of being stuck in the factory. To our other service centres like Diptech Performance (Yamaha Waveruner skis) and Western Side of Melbourne, thank you for all that you do for our skiers. We wish you all the best for 2026. To our sponsors/partners - JETPILOT, Jet Tech, JET 1 Industries, sunvibe sunglasses - thankyou for support the Vic Ski Rider community with your genourous donations for our raffles and also helping our community with discounts on goods for your brand. Last but not least, thank you to everyone single one of you who make this community the best community to be part of. Whereever your holiday destinations are over Christmas and New Years, make sure it's a fun and SAFE one.
